Education Theatre For Young Audience – In High/Secondary Schools (ETYA) is a theatre mobility hub that offers theatre production in schools in response to education or extracurricular activities for students. Currently, the project is being run with a treatment of Macbeth production which is in the secondary school literature syllabus in Malawi.
We delved into Shakespearean literature research in 2018, which led to the adaptation of “Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet,” which is included in English literature in secondary and international high schools. By encouraging pupils to have a greater grasp of literature, the project is supporting a goal analogous to that of academics.
